What is a Cronus Zen?
The Cronus Zen is a device that sits between your controller and console. It reads your controller input and applies scripts on top of it — custom programs written in GPC (Game Pack Code), the scripting language built for the Zen.
A GPC script is just a program that modifies or assists your input. Because the Zen intercepts input at the hardware level, scripts work across consoles and run without touching the game itself.
What do GPC scripts actually do?
In practice, the scripts you will see most are game assists: better shot timing in NBA 2K, recoil control in shooters, rapid fire on semi-automatic weapons, and movement assists. A good script makes your existing skill more consistent — it does not play the game for you.

Are free scripts worth it?
There are free scripts floating around forums, but they are usually outdated, untuned and rarely updated when a game patches. Paid scripts that are re-tuned every season tend to perform far more consistently — but free scripts are a great way to learn how the Zen works before you commit.
